Im Winter, wenn die Menschen bei Schnee und Eiseskälte frieren, kann man auf den spanischen Kanareninseln bei Sonne und angenehmen 20 Grad Urlaub machen. Ideal zum Wandern und mit der richtigen Ausrüstung ist auch schwimmen möglich, im Sommer sowieso. Auf Lanzarote gibt es einzigartig schöne Orte. Dazu zählen der Timanfaya Nationalpark mit seinen Vulkanen, wo man glaubt man ist am Mond (ESA-Astronauten bereiten sich dort für ihren Mondflug vor), der unverbaute Traumstrand Papagayo im Süden und die faszinierenden Kunst-Bauwerke des Künstlers César Manrique, die er in Lavablasen- und tunnelen im Norden errichtet hat. Zum Glück hat der 1992 verstorbene Künstler mit seiner Philosophie noch immer Einfluss auf den Tourismus. Er hat propagiert, dass alle Häuser weiß sind, Hotels nicht zu hoch gebaut und Werbetafeln abmontiert werden. Deswegen ist die Natur auf Lanzarote noch in Ordnung. Today I want to write about our visit of the Slovak city of Trenčín. Maybe this is helpful for you if you plan to visit this area. Trenčín is a city that is alongside the train track from Bratislava to the high Tatras. The castle above the city is very nice. But I think the real star is the old town square below it.
